Aquael ASAP Internal Filter: simple, efficient filtration with quick maintenance

For over 30 years, Aquael has been a leader in quality equipment for freshwater aquariums and garden ponds. The ASAP internal filter combines an energy efficient motor with a large transparent filter bowl full of filtration sponge, giving mechanical and biological filtration for clear, healthy water. Choose from three models to suit aquariums from a small tank up to 250 litres.

Why Choose the Aquael ASAP Internal Filter?

Mechanical and biological filtration: the sponge is quickly colonised by beneficial bacteria, so water is cleaned both ways.
Easy maintenance: rinse the sponge without taking the whole filter out of the tank, or simply swap the filter bowl for a new cartridge.
Optional cartridges: standard, activated carbon or phosphate absorber cartridges are available separately to help keep algae down.
Works in shallow water: operates in water from just 5cm deep, ideal for aquaterrariums.
Oxygenates the water: creates strong surface movement.
Energy efficient and quiet: low power motor for cost effective running.
Complete set: ready to plug in and use, sponge included.
