NT Labs Barley Straw Pouch Twin Pack: natural control of green water and blanket weed

NT Labs Pond Aid Barley Straw Pouches are the natural and effective way to control green water algae and blanket weed in garden ponds. As the barley straw naturally decomposes, micro organisms release anti algal factors that restrict how fast algae and blanket weed grow, leading to a clearer pond. Completely harmless to fish, pets, wildlife and ponds.

Why Choose NT Labs Barley Straw Pouches?

• 100% natural: made from natural, biodegradable barley straw.
• Clearer water: effective against single celled algae (green water) and blanket weed.
• Safe: harmless to fish, pets and wildlife.
• Long lasting: each pouch works for up to 6 months.
• Twin pack: two pouches, so you can treat a larger pond or keep a spare ready for continuous control.
• Easy to use: simply place in the pond, no measuring or dosing.

How to Use

• Use one pouch per 3,500 litres (800 gallons) of pond water.
• Keep the pouch close to the surface, ideally in water moved by the filter or pump flow. Do not weigh it down.
• Attach a string and pull the pouch to the surface twice a month.
• It takes about 28 days to start working.
• Replace with a new pouch every 6 months. Remove the old pouch one month after adding the new one, so control continues without a gap.
• Once used, dispose of the pouch in your compost or garden waste bin.
