How to Use: the W.A.G. Technique

1. Witness: spot the unwanted behaviour.
2. Act: act immediately and give one short burst. Direct the can away from your dog, they only need to hear the noise.
3. Give: when your dog stops, give a command (e.g. quiet) and reward with lots of praise or a tasty treat. It is a training aid, not a punishment.

First use: a firm press is needed to break the safety seal. Once broken, the can works as normal.

Company of Animals advises testing your dog's sensitivity first with a 1 second burst from more than 3 metres away. In use, give 1 second bursts from more than 1 metre away. Avoid pressing continuously or using the can upside down.

Pet Corrector is a pressurised can of compressed gas. Please read and follow this guidance:

• Never use Pet Corrector without reading the instructions first.
• Do not allow children to use Pet Corrector.
• Never point the can directly towards your dog or another person. Do not spray on your pet.
• Do not use on puppies, or on dogs who are anxious, fearful, nervous or sensitive to noises.
• Stop using immediately if your dog shows signs of stress or anxiety, or has an excessively fearful or aggressive reaction.
• Avoid storing the can in clothing pockets.
• Keep away from direct sunlight, flames or temperatures above 50°C.
• Never incinerate, burn or puncture the can, even when empty.
