Johnson's Anti Chew Training Spray 150ml: protect your home from chewing

Whether your puppy is teething or your dog is stressed or anxious, chewing chair legs, flooring, soft furnishings and shoes is common and can be a hard habit to break. Johnson's Anti Chew Training Spray contains Bitrex, a bitter tasting yet harmless substance that trains pets not to chew or scratch furnishings and household items. Suitable for puppies, dogs and cats.

Why Choose Johnson's Anti Chew Spray?

• Bitter taste: contains Bitrex to deter destructive chewing.
• Harmless to pets: bitter tasting but harmless.
• Protects your home: use on soft furnishings, woodwork, baskets, carpets, rugs and other household items.
• Helps against self harm: discourages biting or chewing of coat, fur and wound licking.
• Supports training: helps direct chewing towards bones, toys and chews instead of your furniture.
• For puppies, dogs and cats: 150ml pump spray.

How to Use

Shake the bottle before use.

Important: before use on delicate fabrics, polished or plastic surfaces, spray a small test area in case of adverse reaction.

On furnishings: spray lightly from about 30cm (12 inches) onto soft furnishings, woodwork, baskets, carpets, rugs and other household articles. Alternatively, spray a piece of material well and place it on or around the articles to be protected. Repeat regularly as required.

On pets: spray lightly onto areas of the pet that are being licked, bitten or chewed to excess. Avoid eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Repeat as necessary.

Training Tips

Chewing is a natural instinct for puppies and young dogs and helps their jaws and teeth develop. Older dogs also need to chew to clean their teeth and gums, but may develop a chewing habit due to boredom or separation anxiety when left alone. Plenty of outdoor exercise before being left alone helps work off excess energy. Provide toys, bones, rawhide chews and other items your pet is allowed to chew, and use verbal reprimands until the habit stops.
