API Prevent Algae is a liquid water treatment designed to help keep your aquarium cleaner and clearer by reducing the nutrients that fuel algae growth. It works by lowering phosphate levels — one of algae’s main food sources — helping prevent unwelcome algal blooms, green water, and slime build‑up before they start.
What It Does:

How to Use:
Shake well and add weekly, typically 5 ml per 40 L (about 10 gal) of aquarium water, using the dosing cap. Regular dosing as part of maintenance helps limit algae before it becomes a problem.
