Wormaway Plus XL is a trusted, veterinary approved worming tablet from Chanelle, made for large dogs. It treats roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms and whipworms, and kills worm larvae too. The tablets have a tasty pork flavour, so many dogs take them willingly, and they can be given with or without food. Each pack contains 2 tablets, enough to treat dogs from 17.5kg up to 70kg.

Praziquantel 175mg
Pyrantel embonate 504mg (equivalent to 175mg pyrantel)
Febantel 525mg

Dosage

The recommended dose rate is 1 tablet per 35kg bodyweight, given by mouth. The pack of 2 tablets suits dogs from 17.5kg to 70kg. For smaller dogs, Wormaway Plus for dogs 2.5kg to 20kg may be more suitable.

For full dosage and administration instructions, refer to the product leaflet. Do not use in the first 4 weeks of pregnancy, and ask your vet before worming a pregnant or lactating dog. Do not use at the same time as products containing piperazine.

How Often Should I Worm My Dog?

Chanelle's guidance recommends monthly worming if your dog:

Has off lead walks
Eats things it finds in the environment
Is fed a raw food diet
Lives with children under 5 or elderly people
