Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On for Cats: kills fleas and ticks

Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On for Cats contains 50mg fipronil and kills fleas and ticks on your cat at the time of treatment. It continues to protect against fleas for up to 5 weeks. For cats over 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 1kg. Cats that spend a lot of time outdoors are especially at risk, so a regular flea control routine for your cat and your home is important.

Active Ingredient

Each 0.5ml pipette contains fipronil 50mg. Excipients include butylhydroxyanisole (E320) 0.1mg, butylhydroxytoluene (E321) 0.05mg and benzyl alcohol.

How to Use

Weigh your cat before treatment.
Part the fur between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Apply the contents of the pipette directly onto the skin at two spots: at the base of the skull and 2cm to 3cm further back.
Do not bathe or let your cat get soaked straight after treatment. Avoid frequent swimming or shampooing.
For best flea control in multi pet households, treat all cats and dogs with a suitable product, and treat bedding and resting areas.

Safety

Do not use on rabbits, as adverse reactions and even death could occur.
Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks old or under 1kg, or on sick or convalescent cats. Ensure treated cats do not come into contact with kittens under 8 weeks old.
For external use only. Avoid the eyes, wounds and damaged skin. Do not let treated cats lick the site or each other.
Do not use with other spot-on flea products. Do not overdose.
Do not handle treated cats, or let children play with them, until the application site is dry. Treated cats should not sleep with owners, especially children.
Wash hands after use. Do not eat, drink or smoke while applying. Keep out of reach of children.
Fipronil is dangerous to fish and aquatic life: do not let treated cats swim in water courses.
Use in pregnant or lactating cats only after a benefit/risk assessment by your vet. Always read the leaflet before use.
