API White Spot Cure: fast treatment for ich in aquarium fish

API White Spot Cure treats white spot disease (ich), caused by the parasites Ichthyophthirius in freshwater fish and Cryptocaryon in saltwater fish. Use it at the first sign of white spots. It also contains a synthetic slime coat to help protect fish from secondary infection while their natural slime coat recovers, and often shows results within the first 24 hours.

Why Choose API White Spot Cure?

• Treats ich (white spot): targets the parasite behind the visible white spots and irritation.
• Freshwater and saltwater: treats Ichthyophthirius and Cryptocaryon.
• Protective slime coat: helps guard damaged fish against secondary bacterial and fungal infection.
• Fast acting: often producing results within the first 24 hours of dosing.
• Good value: at 5ml per 20 litres, one 118ml bottle doses up to 472 litres of aquarium water.

Dosage

How to Use

1. Remove activated carbon from your filter and make sure the tank is well aerated.
2. Add 5ml per 20 litres of aquarium water.
3. Repeat the dose after 48 hours, following the directions on the label.
4. Once the course is complete, make a partial water change and replace the filter carbon.

Safety

• Some scaleless fish are sensitive to this medication: treat them with half the normal dose.
• Corals and invertebrates may be sensitive. Not recommended for reef aquariums or any freshwater or saltwater aquarium with invertebrates.
• Causes slight discolouration of the water, easily removed by adding activated carbon to the filter after treatment.
• Always read the packaging and label before use.
