API® MELAFIX fish remedy is an all-natural antibacterial treatment that works to treat infections in fish. Common bacterial infections are open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, eye cloud, and mouth fungus. MELAFIX fish remedy also promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue. Product may be used when adding fish to an aquarium – particularly to smooth the transition from store to home – and if an infection is suspected, but not yet diagnosed. Some fish bought in pet stores are already carrying diseases at the time of purchase, which may be difficult to detect in its early stages. API MELAFIX fish remedy will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter the pH, or discolor water.

API Melafix: natural tea tree remedy for bacterial infections and damaged fins

API Melafix is an all natural antibacterial treatment made with botanical tea tree (Melaleuca) extract. It treats bacterial infections, heals open wounds and promotes regrowth of damaged fins and tissue, usually within a week. Use it to treat sick fish or as a precaution when adding new fish to your aquarium.

Dosage

Dose	5ml (1 teaspoon) per 38 litres (10 US gallons) of aquarium water
Sick or injured fish	Dose daily for 7 days, then make a 25% water change. Continue treatment if necessary.
Adding new fish	Dose daily for 3 days

How to Use

Shake well before use.
Remove activated carbon from the filter before use, if possible.
Add the correct dose directly to the aquarium.
Always follow the label instructions and keep water quality good throughout treatment.
