The Cheeko 4 Litre Starter Tank Kit is a 4 litre plastic bowl with a coloured plastic rim, supplied with gravel, a plastic plant, a sachet of flake food and a Nutrafin water neutraliser block.
A 4 litre bowl is not a long term home for a goldfish. A goldfish can grow to 12 to 14 inches and live for 20 years, and it needs a large filtered aquarium with room to grow. This kit suits short term use, such as a quarantine or hospital tank, a tank for raising fry, or a home for shrimp or snails. If you are setting up for a goldfish, call into Gary's Pet World in Letterkenny, where we stock a full range of larger aquariums and will help you choose the right size.
